Hungarian Érettségi Oral Exam Practice
Practise the oral exam in English or German with a voice examiner that follows the official exam description, task by task, at középszint or emelt szint.
The exam format (Oktatási Hivatal)
Középszint (B1) lasts about 15 minutes and the oral is worth 33 of the 150 points; emelt szint (B2) lasts 20 minutes and is worth 30.
After a few warm-up questions, which are not scored, there are three tasks, each from a different topic.
There is no preparation time at either level, only about half a minute to think before a task.
In 2027 the emelt szint orals run from 2 to 9 June and the középszint orals from 14 to 30 June.
How a practice exam works
- Warm-up: a few short questions. In the real exam this part is not scored.
- Task 1, conversation: the examiner asks about one topic. At emelt szint the questions are more abstract.
- Task 2: a role play at középszint, where you lead the conversation; a debate at emelt szint, where you argue for or against a statement and the examiner pushes back.
- Task 3, independent talk: you speak on a topic from guide points. Practice uses the official version without pictures, because sessions are voice-only.
- Afterwards you get LearnLingo.ai practice feedback on your answers. It is never an official érettségi result.
