Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

1. Scope

This page summarizes our data processing terms for schools, businesses, and other institutional customers using LearnLingo.ai. It is intended to complement our Privacy Policy andTerms of Service.

2. Roles

• Institutional customer (school/company): typically acts as the data controller for learner account data it provides or manages.
• LearnLingo.ai: acts as processor for institutional customer data where required by applicable law and contractual terms.

3. Processing Commitments

• Process personal data only for agreed service purposes.
• Apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
• Support data subject rights requests where legally required.
• Notify institutional customers of confirmed personal data breaches as required by law.
• Use subprocessors under contractual safeguards.

4. International Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, LearnLingo.ai uses recognized transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention periods are aligned with service delivery, legal obligations, and security requirements. On valid termination or deletion requests, data is deleted or anonymized according to applicable obligations.

6. Requesting a Signed DPA

Institutional customers that need a signed DPA can request one by emailing info@learnlingo.ai with subject line DPA Request.
